First foods and recipe suggestions
Allow plenty of time for feeding so that you are not worried or tense – this should be an enjoyable experience for both of you!
Gradually increase the amount of food you offer your baby. Use your baby’s appetite as a guide to how much to give and stop when she’s had enough. Throw away anything that’s left in the bowl.
Purees are the ideal start for babies beginning weaning and they can be mixed with Milupa Baby Rice for a consistent texture. Try:
- Pureed fruit – banana, apple, pear, mango, avocado.
- Pureed vegetables – carrot, parsnip, potato, courgette.
